Zweck, DPM
We are excited to welcome Dr. Zweck to the practice. She is a board qualified podiatrist in the American Academy of Foot and Ankle Surgeons who believes in a holistic approach to treating patients. Although specializing in the foot and ankle, she believes that you have to look at the entire body as a whole to treat any condition. Dr. Zweck treats patients of all ages from newborns to adults, recognizing that we all need healthy feet no matter our age!
As a native from the Chicago-land area, she grew up dancing and fostering a love for the outdoors. She attended undergrad at the University of Illinois and completed her medical school training at Dr. William M. Scholl school of podiatric medicine in North Chicago. After medical school, she completed a prestigious residency program in Texas where she also learned how to lasso a calf and ride a horse, becoming a connoisseur in Texas BBQ. When she isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her twin girls and her husband finding the best local coffee shops and enjoying the beautiful nature that Michigan has to offer.
BUNION SURGERY
During minimally invasive bunion surgery, a few small incisions are made to access the bone around the bunion, as opposed to a much larger incision made during an open bunion surgery that cuts across layers of tissue around the bone, causing more postoperative pain, a larger scar, and damage to the surrounding soft tissues

Management of foot and leg wounds refers to the care or treatment employed for the management of lower extremity wounds until they heal, addressing the immediate medical needs as well as precautions for the future.
ANKLE TRAUMA
Foot and ankle trauma refers to injuries that most commonly occur during sports, exercise or any other physical activity. Trauma may be a result of accidents, poor training practices or use of improper gear.
A medical pedicure is a specialized foot care treatment performed by trained podiatrist or foot health specialist. Unlike a regular pedicure offered at a nail salon, a medical pedicure focuses on addressing foot health issues and maintaining the overall well-being of the feet.
